Today, know that God cares about the things that concern you. He cares about the things that hurt you. He is close to the brokenhearted, and He wants to bring you peace and comfort. Turn to Him and receive His love. Let Him bring healing to your heart and restoration to your soul.
I think life is pretty cool. But I don’t think it’s cool for the reasons people usually say it’s cool. That is, family is great. Friends can be good. The miracle of being alive is pretty dang awesome. But I don’t think that’s what makes life cool. I think what makes life cool is that it has a way of just going. It just… goes on. And no one can really comprehend exactly the little pieces of life and the stories that have “gone on” to make every person exactly who he or she is. All the tiny “lifes” that built each person moment by moment and continue to do so. I think the cool thing about life is that even in death, life is infinite. It never really ends, because the thing it does is go on. That’s cool. Kind of like bow ties.
I don’t know how much longer I can keep going without a friend. I used to be able to do it very easily, but that was before I knew what having a friend was like. It’s much easier not to know things sometimes. And to have french fries with your mom be enough.
I'm Hil. I'm a Christ follower, an introvert, a bibliophile, a romantic, a Whovian, a Sherlockian, an art student, a geek (in every sense of the word), and a dreamer.
I overreact, overthink, overacheive, and overanalyze. My goal in life used to be to change the world somehow. But I don't need to change the world. I just need to matter to someone. And I know that I do. But changing the world wouldn't be a bad result of whatever God does with my life.
I tend to be a bit of a self-esteem paradox. That is, I think very little of myself most of the time, and yet I also tend to be a bit egotistical without realizing it. I love people. I love words. I love music. I love art. And I love you.
Please send me messages--I would love to get to know you!

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God. -Philippians 1:9-11
